General Information

Climate & Weather in Cologne

Due to its location on a low-lying plane which is largely surrounded by hills, Cologne has a special microclimate and is the city with the highest average temperature in Germany. That means that the weather features humid summers and mild winters. In fall and even up till November the weather can be mild and sunny, but one might also have to face chilly and rainy days at that time of the year.
