The 10ᵗʰ International Symposium on Hodgkin Lymphoma was held between October 22 and 25, 2016. The program consisted of more than 130 oral presentations, 13 workshops, 10 scientific sessions as well as 10 satellite symposia. In total, more than 170 posters were presented and more than 1200 scientists and clinicians from more than 70 countries joined this conference.
Scientific highlights included a better understanding of the disease´s pathogenesis and biology, the optimal choice of treatment in newly diagnosed Hodgkin lymphoma, challenges in treating relapsed and refractory patients as well as the impact of immunotherapy.
Still, many unsolved questions remain. These include the possible prognostic role of genetic alterations, the optimal combination of immunotherapy and conventional treatment approaches as well as the impact of late effects on the long-term prognosis.
We cordially invite you to actively participate and contribute to our next International Symposium on Hodgkin Lymphoma (ISHL11), which will take place in Cologne, Germany, between October 27 and 29, 2018. Due to the growing interest and the rapid advances in the field, we decided to reschedule our conference to every two years with the program shortened to three days.
We very much look forward to welcoming you here in Cologne!
