News on the Main Program

Dear colleagues,
The ISHL11 program is now available on our meeting's homepage. This Symposium will cover all relevant topics in Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL) and beyond. Latest results from clinical trials and novel insights into the pathological characteristics and molecular mechanisms will be discussed by world-leading experts in the field.
One highlight to be presented for the first time is the analysis of the large randomized GHSG HD16 phase 3 trial for patients with early-stage disease.
A number of other clinical trials with HL patients in intermediate and advanced stages as well as those with relapsed disease will also be shown. Many of these studies combined conventional chemotherapy and targeted drugs such as the antibody-drug conjugate brentuximab vedotin (BV).
Here, the provocative phase 3 ECHELON-1 trial will be discussed controversially. More recently, PD-1 inhibitors such as nivolumab or pembrolizumab have made a substantial impact in relapsed and refractory HL.
Importantly, survivorship will be a major focus of ISHL11. Workshops, scientific sessions and the meeting ́s keynote lecture will address the challenges in the care of long-term HL survivors.
